The Space Generation Advisory Council 
is a non-governmental organisation which aims to represent students and young space professionals to the United Nations, States, and space agencies. SGAC has permanent observer status in the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space. The One Flag in Space initiative is an offshoot of the Space Generation Congress, SGAC's yearly world meeting. [more].

The Open Luna foundation is a non-profit foundation that seeks to return mankind to the lunar surface, first through robotic missions, followed by manned exploration, culminating in an eight person permanent outpost, and to do all of this in a way that it is accessible to everyone. Their research and technology is open-source. The Collaborative Space Travel and Research Team (CSTART) is a non-government space agency whose mission is is to organize and finance the efforts of space enthusiasts around the world who are interested in using collaborative design, volunteer labor, innovative, low-cost technology and open data sharing to further the cause of manned and unmanned space travel and research [more].

The Faces From Earth initiative creates artistic representations of the Blue Marble with portraits that people submit from all over the world. Their vision aligns itself with BMS in increasing international awareness of our planet's diversity. [more].

Teachers Without Borders
 is a non profit, international organization with a small staff and a membership of over 6500 in over 180 countries. Their programs are conceived, led, and developed by local education leaders and supported by a global network of colleagues. BMS is partnering with TWB to develop a space education curriculum. [more].

Open-Aerospace (OaO) is a non profit organization with an engineering focus whose mission is to create, collect, share and implement the knowledge and skills that enable the peaceful expansion of humanity into space. [more]

Yuri's Night is an international celebration held on April 12 every year to commemorate space exploration milestones.
The goal of Yuri's Night is to increase public interest in space exploration and to inspire a new generation of explorers.  Yuri's Night creates a global community of young people committed to shaping the future of space exploration while developing responsible leaders and innovators with a global perspective.

Astronauts 4 Hire is a non profit organization whose goal is to create the first pool of private astronauts to meed the need of commercial space flight. A4H members are NASTAR trained payload specialists who can conduct experiments, monitor equipment, or be test subjects. [more]
