I am an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My research focuses on chemical evolution and the origins of life, with an emphasis on understanding how simple molecules could have assembled, reacted, and undergone selection to give rise to increasingly complex chemical systems. My group studies the emergence and selection of biomolecular building blocks, abiotic peptide formation, self-assembly and compartmentalization, and the interplay between molecular structure and function under prebiotic conditions.
