Shelli Brunswick is a global space strategist, author, keynote speaker, and futurist working at the intersection of space technology, leadership, entrepreneurship, and international collaboration. A former U.S. Air Force officer with 29 years of service, she has built a career connecting people, ideas, and institutions to expand access to the global space economy and translate space-enabled innovation into benefits for humanity.

As a Visiting Scholar with Blue Marble Space, Brunswick explores how the Space Mindset can prepare leaders and organizations to navigate rapid technological change, strengthen international cooperation, and shape a more inclusive and sustainable future. Her work examines not only what humanity can accomplish through space exploration, but also the leadership, trust, talent, diplomacy, and governance required to advance that future responsibly.

She also mentors emerging researchers and future leaders through the Blue Marble Space Young Scientist Program. This work reflects her broader commitment to expanding access, cultivating talent, and connecting the next generation with opportunities across science, technology, entrepreneurship, and the global space ecosystem.

Brunswick is the CEO and Founder of SB Global LLC and serves as Secretary General of the World Business Angels Investment Forum Global Women Leaders Committee. Through her advisory work, international engagements, and board leadership, she connects government, industry, academia, investors, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders across sectors and borders. Her work advances innovation ecosystems, develops future-ready talent, and encourages leaders and institutions to recognize opportunities beyond traditional boundaries.

She also created the Space Mindset, an approach that applies the perspectives behind successful space missions—including long-term vision, systems thinking, collaboration, resilience, and purposeful action—to leadership and complex challenges on Earth.

Brunswick is the author of the What’s Space Got to Do With It? book series, which translates lessons from space exploration into practical insights for personal growth, professional success, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Drawing on more than 200 interviews with leaders and changemakers worldwide, her books invite readers to think bigger, act bolder, and shape the future.

She contributes to the Forbes Technology Council and is a resident columnist for Global Trends Magazine. Her writing explores space, emerging technology, leadership, diplomacy, entrepreneurship, and the decisions shaping our shared future.

Having engaged audiences and collaborators across six continents, Brunswick advances a view of space not simply as a destination, but as a platform for innovation, economic opportunity, international cooperation, and human advancement. Through her scholarship, writing, speaking, and mentorship, she challenges individuals and institutions to look beyond the horizon—and take an active role in shaping what comes next.

Brunswick collaborates with companies, governments, universities, investment ecosystems, and mission-driven organizations through strategic advisory engagements, board service, keynote speaking, executive dialogues, and global initiatives focused on leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and future readiness.
