She uses observations from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) taken for other science targets to study asteroids that happened to pass through the field. By extracting spectra from these archival observations, she aims to learn more about the asteroids’ compositions. She is interested in planetary geology and using cinematic scientific visualization to explain complex space science concepts to the public. As a Visiting Scholar at Blue Marble Space, she is excited to build on an idea from her master’s research by creating a visualization project about reuse and transformation. Her project will explore how everyday objects can be reimagined through visual experimentation, turning familiar materials into new usable forms.
