He is a PhD student in Biomedical Science at Kyung Hee University, where he conducts research in the laboratory of Professor Man S. Kim. His work centers on transcriptomics and RNA-seq, applying computational and bioinformatic approaches to understand how gene expression shapes health and disease. He is especially interested in AI- and machine learning–driven precision medicine, developing data-driven models that turn large-scale sequencing data into actionable biological insight. A growing focus of his research is space biology — how spaceflight and microgravity affect gene expression and human physiology — and how computational methods can help interpret these unique datasets. He is committed to building reproducible analysis pipelines that make complex omics data more interpretable and shareable across the community. Through this work, he hopes to contribute to a future where AI-powered precision medicine extends from the clinic on Earth to human health in space.
